Antti Åke has been appointed as a CEO of the WasteWise Group Ltd

The board of WasteWise Group has appointed Antti Åke, Engineer and EMBA, as a new CEO of the company. Antti Åke has been working so far as a development manager of the company. He has been working earlier in the plastic business units in Bayer AG and Covestro AG and also as a manager of strategic marketing and investment projects. Antti has been working in Finland, China and Germany.

He started working at WWG in November 2023 being responsible for staff and developing of production, technology and business model. Antti Åke will begin as the CEO of the company at 6.8.2024. At the same time he will work as the CEO of the affiliated company WasteWise Ltd.

”The experience and knowledge of Antti Åke will accelerate an expansion of WasteWise Group as the company moves to the next development phase in its growth path”, says the Chairman of the Board Kari Ruokonen.

A current CEO of WasteWise Group Ltd and WasteWise Ltd, Kaisa Suvilampi, moves to a new position in the company. From 6.8.2024 on she will continue as a Senior Advisor supporting the growth targets of the company. The Board of WWG thanks Kaisa Suvilampi for the long and productive work as the CEO of the company.
